The Purple Ribbon Awards announced the winners of grants totaling $30,000 on September 15, 2021 at the inaugural Purple Ribbon Awards celebration, hosted by Angela Shelton. GROW Foundation of Chesapeake, VA won a $5,000 grant in honor of their founder Neisha Himes, who was recognized as Survivor of the Year (with organizations less than $500,000).
