Posted 09/14/2026

Better Sister and Brother Growth Network offers limited temporary housing for domestic violence survivors in Michigan City, Indiana. Our furnished shared space includes two twin beds, that can accommodate two individuals or one family of up to three people at a time. Applicants should have verifiable employment income, SSI, SSDI, or another reliable source of income and be able to make an affordable contribution toward housing. Placement is subject to availability, eligibility, completion of the intake process, and a safety assessment. We also provide confidential support, safety planning, financial literacy, survivor advocacy, essential supplies, resource navigation, and referrals to help survivors work toward safe, permanent housing and long-term independence.
