Description

PeaceWorks, Inc. provides the only domestic violence shelter and confidential 24/7 hotline in 2,700 square miles encompassing all of Park County and the mountain communities of Jefferson County, CO. Shelter services are available primarily to local citizens who have experienced domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking or other intimate partner violence. The shelter provides limited availability for Colorado and out-of-state referrals who have resources in the local rural community or who are in transit to other locations. A SafePets program provides on-site shelter for resident cats, dogs, and small pets.
